Fat Frog support Tomafund
17/06/2008

At the start of the year Fat Frog decided their charity for 2008 would be Tomafund.

The charity was set up by the family of Jordan Thompson who sadly lost his battle with Leukemia in Septemer 2007 and aims to raise awareness and funds for the Teenage Cancer Unit (set up by the Teenage Cancer Trust) at Newcastle’s RVI hospital.

As well as designing a logo and identity for the charity Fat Frog also designed and built the Tomafund website which can be viewed at www.tomafund.org. The website features video links as well as the facility to accept donations through Just Giving.

The website was launched in April at a ceremony at St James Park which was attended by Cheryl Cole of Girls Aloud and Steven Taylor and Peter Ramage from Newcastle United Football Club who are the charity's patrons.

On 17th July, North East band Dog in a Box featuring drummer Steve Blanks (Fat Frog Managing Director) will perform at the Cluny in Newcastle in aid of the Tomafund. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from Fat Frog. Give us a ring on 0191 281 2288 or email steve@fatfrog.eu. We hope to see you there.
